Not missing a beat the very weekend that some of our seniors graduated as the Class of 2023 we were at two events. Always willing to help our community we handed out medals at our city's Run 2 Save Our Youth 5k. Bouncing a bit outside our normal we ran a demonstration at Miracle League of Plymouth for the players and their families, inadvertently helping them set up their cooling methods as they came out of their packages. Mid June, the Warriors got an exciting opportunity to present at the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan's Metro Detroit Stroll for Epilepsy. An annual event to raise money and awareness of epilepsy with over 2,000 people at it.
Near the end of the month, we were out in Taylor for our first off-season competition, the 5th Annual Big Bang. Having won twice before (once with a practice bot in 2017) and looking for back to back wins, the Warriors ended up placing 5th in qualifications while the Tyros ended up 21st. The Tyros ended up going 0-2 in playoffs getting knocked out in the 7th-8th place spots it would take a full best of 3 for the Warriors to eventually finish second losing the 3rd match by only 7 points.
